Our aim is to enhance the Estates by providing excellent Grounds Maintenance through Best Horticultural Practice. Our experience has shown us that to do this needs not only our expertise but also input from the local residents. The Questions below are aimed at Southern Housing Group residents directly and will directly influence the way your estate are maintained. Fortnightly Ground Maintenance Core Tasks

Litter / Rubbish Clear areas of littler
Reporting of dumped large bulk items
Grassed areas Clear of litter & debris
Cut & trim edges to leave neat & remove cuttings, Frequency of 16 cuts per annum
Shrub beds Seasonal pruning on shrub, boarder & flower beds
Maintain beds, remove litter, leaf fall, debris & weeds
Romove all dead, diseased & damaged growths
Hedges Trim hedges and maintain to a high standard
Tree Maintenance to 2.5m
Hard Surface Remove leaf, garden debris and weed control

Annual Ground Maintenance Core Tasks

All grassed areas should be edged back to their original line ( in Spring )
Fertilising and weed control treatment of all grassed areas ( weed and feed in spring )
