Apple mint - To add an edge to peas, potatoes, or the most flavoursome mint sauce you have ever tasted!
Chervil - Use chervil to add a punch of herby flavour to mild-flavoured chicken and seafood or as a
garnish atop steamed baby vegetables.
Chives - Masses of purple flowerheads in spring, adds a mild, oniony bite that makes a welcome mark
on all sorts of savoury dishes.
Chocolate Mint - Really does taste a bit like mint chocolate - great for finishing desserts.
Coriander - Use the leaves and seeds to add extra taste to curry and other savory dishes.
Curry Plant - Bright yellow flowers are produced in summer, fine, silvery foliage. Add sparingly to meat or salads.
Dill - The ferny foliage and seeds are a tasty flavouring for fish, lamb, new potatoes and peas.
Fennel - A very versatile vegetable or stunning architectural plant.
French Tarragon - Can be added to salads, vinegars, pickles, chicken, fish and rice dishes.

Lavender 'Munstead' - The most popular form of the dwarf lavender, fantastic when planting en masse.
Origanum vulgare - Used widely in cooking, especially on pizzas and in pasta sauces. During summer, the plant is almost covered in pale pink flowers.
Parsley - For parsley sauce or garnishes, very useful for every kitchen.
Peppermint - A multitude of uses particularly desserts but most popularly known for tea.
Pineapple Mint - Perfect as a food garnish. A perennial plant, it produces long spikes of pale white or cream flowers, green leaves and a cream edge.
Rosemary 'Miss Jessops' - A fine-leaved, evergreen variety with intensely aromatic grey-green foliage and pretty small blue flowers.
Sage 'Growers Friend' - A reliable sage great for drying and using with meat and poultry.
Thyme Archers Gold - a low growing lemon scented thyme with dense bright gold foliage.
Thyme compact - A tidy version of this kitchen favourite, a highly aromatic and useful herb. Mauve flowers in summer are very attractive and great for bees.
Thyme Lemon Variegated - One of the best year-round ground cover herbs.
Thyme Silver Posie - A silver variegated form of the common thyme. It has all the taste and flavour for cooking, but a more compact habit.
