WIMBLEDON & STRAWBERRIES WEEKEND AT GINKGO, 3rd/4th JULY
.

Come and join us on Wimbledon Finals weekend, when we’ll be focussing on our fantastic range of hand-finished ‘Wimbledon’ garden furniture, accompanied by a feast of strawberries in all shapes and sizes!

Whether you enjoy growing strawberries or simply love to eat them, the Wimbledon & Strawberries weekend will be a chance to wallow in classic English summer pursuits, with the retro style ‘Wimbledon’ range creating an ambience reminiscent of cricket pavilions, bowling greens, tea rooms and Morris Minors. For gardeners there will be a range of ready-to-fruit strawberry plants, and Café Ginkgo will be offering a host of delectable strawberry dishes.

‘Wimbledon’ Furniture: this folding garden furniture in traditional green is our best-selling range this summer. Designed to imitate wood, each piece is in fact metal, rubbed down by hand to give a distinctive aged effect. The result is weather resistant and low maintenance (a few drops of oil before folding for winter storage) and should last a lifetime; it’s state-of-the art yet has a genuinely weathered look and great vintage charm. We have many more pieces from the range at Ginkgo Garden Centre including garden benches, round and oblong tables, a garden arch and garden mirrors.

Strawberry Growing: Ginkgo celebrates one of the highlights of the ‘edible gardening’ calendar, with a wide range of ready-to-fruit strawberry plants on offer. Varieties include Elan, Tarpan, Loran, Pegasus, Roman and Red Gauntlet: different shapes and sizes but all guaranteed to be sweet and succulent ...
